Thistle is expecting, and her burrow isn't ready — that's where you come in.

Thistle & Twigs is a cozy idle life-sim about preparing for a little one, one soft thing at a time. Furnish the nursery, cater to her cravings, tend the garden, and keep her rested and fed through all three trimesters. Then comes the knock of tiny paws — and the game quietly becomes something bigger: raising them.

🌿 Made to be left alone

This is a true away-from-keyboard game. Close it, live your life, come back — Thistle kept earning, the garden kept growing, and the pregnancy moved along without you. Playing actively just makes everything cozier, faster. There's no punishment for being away. The nest waits for you.

🧺 What you'll do

• Prepare the nursery — earn coins, shop for furniture, and fill the readiness bar toward the big day (a gentle in-game handbook shows new players the way 🦔)
• Care for Thistle — rest, meals, comfort, and company; she'll tell you what she's craving
• Craft & garden — grow ingredients, stock the pantry, and make everything from chamomile baths to cot mobiles
• Meet the baby — name them, welcome them home, and care for them through every stage from newborn to grown
• Grow a family tree — children grow up, head out into the world, and send letters home; heirlooms and new chapters follow. How big can one burrow's story get?
• Little moments — 60+ gentle story events, daily bonuses, claimable achievement rewards, and the occasional traveling bard on a scooter

🌸 NEW — The Backyard Dash

A minigame hiding behind the burrow: Thistle curls into a ball and floats through a hedge maze while gravity itself slowly spins around the maze's heart. One control — tap to flap. Ride the pull, dodge the thorn roses, chain coin streaks, and reach the Golden Heart waiting at the center. Whatever you collect is yours to keep, win or lose.

🎥 NEW — The Nursery Vlog

Thistle has discovered content creation. Tap the little computer station in the nursery and she goes live — recording light, climbing view counter, chat that adores her, and video titles like "POV: your nursery is absolute chaos but the aesthetics are 10/10." Filming earns coins, and upgrading her setup — from a potato laptop on a cardboard box to a liquid-cooled quantum datacenter — multiplies the payout up to 15×. The best hardware costs Golden Hearts. She would simply like you to know the algorithm loves twig mukbangs.

💛 Two currencies, powered differently

Coins come from time and tending. Hearts come from love — caring for Thistle and her little ones — and buy permanent upgrades and premium heirloom furniture in their own shop tab. And Golden Hearts come only from the Backyard. Nothing is ever bought with real money.

This is a playtest version — the burrow is still getting its finishing touches, and this build includes a few visible testing tools (they'll retire before full release).
